Independent minds and collaborative communities

We are a dedicated team of philosophers with over 10 years of experience in the field. Our commitment is to share the benefits and joy of philosophical dialogue with young people of all ages and backgrounds.

We provide schools and other organisations with specially designed courses and offer teacher training in the theory and practice. Our web site offers free-to-access resource materials and general information on teaching philosophy to children.

why philosophy?

“Philosophy for children has been the spark that has ignited my classroom”

Philosophy inquires into the nature of thought, explores its limits, and delights in the pleasure of individual reflection and group discussion. It offers children a challenging yet supportive environment in which to explore and discuss their ideas about the nature of reality, truth, beauty, justice, love, identity, etc. It develops critical and creative reasoning, helps boost confidence and emotional intelligence, and encourages a genuine enthusiasm for intellectual inquiry and debate.
